Hello family and friends! Thank you for visiting my website. I have been nominated by my teacher, Ms. Linda Straw, to represent Horn Lake Middle School, and the state of Mississippi, as a member of the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. The Congressional Youth Leadership Council nominates exceptional students from around the country to attend this educational program. I have added a sample of our itinerary for your review. As you can see, this will be a powerful experience, enabling me to meet or interact with many of todays leaders.

I am so excited to have been given this opportunity for a unique life-changing experience. I need your help and that is why I have created www.AbigailGoesToWashington.com. My participation in the Conference depends on whether I can raise the conference tuition of $1890. This amount does not include the airfare costs to and from Washington D.C. so I am also raising money for that. I am investing every dollar I can of my own money to make sure I don’t miss out on this.

I am hoping that my family and friends will consider assisting me with some of these costs. In order to secure my seat at the Spring 2010 Conference, my full tuition must be paid no later than January 17, 2010. Your support for my request of sponsorship is greatly appreciated.
